I have been working on this for the past three days, and I am finally done! I wanted to get Whitney's first year of pictures in a scrapbook, and this smilebox makes it so easy, cute, and a lot less messy. YAY! Anyways, enjoy her first year of pictures and watching her grow and acomplish her milestones. Gees, time goes by way too fast!! To start the scrapbooks click on the triangle and then click on the small triangle to turn the pages. Click on Full Screen - it's better that way. The first two scrapbooks have copies of them, sorry about that.

Our family has been enjoying a few vacations this year and I want to share some CUTE pictures! I am really slow at keeping up on my blog, so here is six months worth of these fun pix. The beginning of this year started with Whitney's first birthday. She's now 18 months old and so smart, not to mention spoiled and cute and funny...
Anyway, after her birthday Travis and I went on our first cruise which was to the Eastern Carribean. It was amazing! We hiked up a waterfall and floated down a river in Jamaica, swam with the stingrays in Grand Cayman, and swam with dolphins in Cozumel, not to mention all the relaxation and food that a cruise ship offers. I think we will have to do this more often! Plus when we got back Whitney was walking everywhere like a pro!
For Spring Break we took the kids to Disneyland, (along with the rest of the world, it was so busy!) However, it was nice to get away from cold, winter striken Utah!! We had a fun time. The second day we were there was Kelsey's 7th birthday and we took her to a princess character dinner. It was so much fun! Kelsey was in heaven! She got to meet and talk to five different princess who treated her like gold. Heck, they were even cute with Mckay, (who, at first didn't really want to go.) Our kids are all tall enough to go on most of the rides, except Whitney. So we stayed pretty busy at Disneyland and California Adventure for all five days. The mom's passes sure came in handy! I think their favorite ride was Space Mountain. Whitney's favorite was Alice in Wonderland. Her least favorite was the Jungle Cruise, in fact she was so scared she threw up. I felt so bad for her! But I think the reason she was so scared was because it was night and really dark when we rode it. So, yeah, beside the throw up we all had a great time! When we got back from California we found out that Kelsey had fractured her growth plate in her ankle while we were at Disneyland. It was never swollen or bruised and she only limped on it after a while of walking on it, and she never complained. In fact she was even jumping into the pool and running around. Crazy! I felt like a really bad mom for waiting so long to get it checked out!
Finally summer came and the warm sun too. Which, for our family, means a lot of camping, 4-wheeling, and swimming. It was Whitney's first time on a 4-wheeler, and she loves it! In fact so much so that she falls asleep! She looks pretty silly with her helmet on though! Tyson, Kelsey, and Mckay love the 4-wheelers too. It worked out really well this year, with Travis, Kelsey and Whitney on one 4-wheeler, and Mckay,Tyson and me on the other we could go for some pretty long rides to broken resevoir and up to some good look outs.
We just got back from St. George and even though it was super hot, it was a really relaxing vacation. Travis was down taking some golf lessons, but besides that, there really are a lot of fun things to do. We went to the Aquatic Center, the Fiesta Fun place (which has bumper boats, mini golf, batting cages, and lots of token games), and there was a dinosaur fossil dig there to tour. We also took all the kids to see Kung Fu Panda and it was hilarious. We ate at my new favorite place - Texas Roadhouse Grill- yum!! Even the hotel we stayed at was perfect and the pool was great there too.
So now we are home for a little bit just hanging out with friends and family. Not for long though, in August we are going to leave again and go hang out at the beach (yay! my favorite place on earth) in Newport Beach for a week. We're also taking the kids to Sea World which is also one of our families favorite places to go. So I'm sure I will have more pictures to post then.
